I feel very fortunate to have artistic colleagues who "watch" me on deviant ART, as well as to be able watch others. I really do have a deep appreciation for all forms of art, and I would hope my form of expression is appreciated, too.

In my opinion, "watching" someone is the same as making a commitment to comment on their new artwork. Maybe not every single piece, but some of the new pieces at least. Despite my busy, full life, I make an effort to keep up with those I watch by viewing and commenting on their new pieces. What is frustrating to me is that not everyone that "watches" me does the same. Of course, I don't mean to make a false generalization - some people on my watch list really do give me input on my new work, and that is very much appreciated. I thank these individuals for their support and dedication.

In conclusion, I will simply not comment on the new pieces of those who don't make an effort to comment on my new deviations. No hard feelings, but it's been a bit one-sided.
